TheCity is a city builder for one. Start on a 4 by 4 kilometre island with a lake and shape it your way: drag roads across the land, zone it, and watch buildings rise as your city fills with people.
Pause, speed up, save
Run the city at three speeds or stop the clock to plan. Save from the menu and pick up exactly where you left off.
Build it your way
Roads
Drag straight or curved roads that snap to each other, with automatic intersections. Streets for neighbourhoods, avenues for density.
Zoning
Paint residential, commercial, industrial and farmland along your roads. Lots follow every curve, and buildings grow to fit them.
Power and water
Run power and water along your roads. Zones only grow once their road reaches a plant and a water tower.
Services
Police, fire, health, education, waste and parks cover everything inside their reach. Keep your people safe, healthy and happy.
Economy
Collect taxes each month, pay for upkeep, and tune the rate to steer demand for homes, shops and industry.
Overlays and terrain
Read power, water, land value, coverage and traffic at a glance, and sculpt the land with raise, lower, smooth and flatten brushes.
